The Women’s Recreational Fishing League is all about encouraging women’s to experience everything fishing has to offer. Supporting and encouraging each other to develop skills, increase confidence and become independent anglers.
This March they are running the FlattyX Flathead Tournament at Lake Conjola in NSW and I’ll be participating for the first time.
It should be a great weekend with plenty to learn and share with a mix of women from beginners to pros.
The tournament runs 1-3 March with workshops, and two on the water competitions each day. Teams are of two people each with a mentor and a mentee on each and different pairings for each session.
