Update: On Saturday I’m paired with Nathan Angee and Sunday I’ll be with Thien Trieu.
You can check in to the live scoreboard and see how I’m doing over the weekend here.

Today I am in Mallacoota ready to participate in my first ABT (Australian Bass/Bream Tournaments) event as a non-boater.
I believe, out of 135 anglers, I’m the only woman entered, and to be honest that’s a little bit daunting for this first-timer.
Mallacoota is an amazing location on some previous visits I’ve fished very well and others not so much. One thing I know, is the conditions will be vastly different from the last two times I fished here when it was bitterly cold and miserable weather. There may be some light showers early Saturday morning with a little wind picking up towards mid day with mild temperatures so I’m hopeful for an enjoyable day out on the water. It’s expected to heat up quite a bit for a Sunday.
I’m looking forward to both the challenge, and the things I’m hopeful I’ll learn from the boaters I’ll be paired with each day.
Wish me luck, and don’t forget to follow the live score board!
